Who is Kathy Griffin's estranged husband, Randy Bick?

On January 1, 2020, Kathy Griffin married her second husband, Randy Bick.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Randy is a marketing executive from Los Angeles, California.

He was a marketing manager for the Los Angeles Times and a Celebrity Management Director for Inappropriate Laughter.

With their nuptials officiated by Lily Tomlin, Kathy and Randy's wedding took place at their home in Los Angeles.

On their wedding day, the couple announced to Kathy's Twitter followers: "Happy New Year — and, surprise! We’re getting married!

"We promised you atypical. We are in love and we cannot stop laughing."

The comedian also shared that her wedding dress was a tribute to her and Randy's first date.

"I asked Randy to pick out which ever one of my long dresses was his favorite for any reason," she tweeted.

"He picked out this dress and showed me this photo [of their first date]. Romance is hotttt again."

Why did Kathy and Randy split?

On December 28, 2023, Kathy filed for divorce from Randy; she cited irreconcilable differences.

Legal documents from their divorce petition listed their date of separation as December 22 of the abovementioned year.

Previously, they reconciled in March 2019 after they split for the first time in November 2018.

Before they reunited, the comedian briefly explained to her social media followers: "God help me, but I¹m gonna be one of those people who announces a break up.

"After 7 years, Randy and I have decided to part ways. It’s not acrimonious and I will always adore him."

They confirmed their reconciliation on April 1, 2019, by posting a picture of themselves to Instagram, which Kathy captioned: "Yup. Back together."

She further elaborated to : "We took a little break and we’re back.

"We just came to the decision that we’ve really been through so much together.

"We both turned to each other and realized this is the longest relationship for both of us, you know?

"We’ve been together over eight years. We should fight for it and make it work."

How did Kathy and Randy meet?

In September 2011, Kathy and Randy first crossed paths at a food and wine festival; soon after, the pair began dating.

By Kathy's admission, her relationship with Randy exceeded her expectations.

She told : "Well, you know, I didn’t think it would last [because] he’s 18 years younger than I am!

"I thought he was just a man-whore, if you will. He’s like a regular guy, you know, he’s like a real guy. He’s not like a Hollywood guy."
