STRICTLY Come Dancing winner Joe McFadden has revealed he fell ill straight after the show's final.
The actor came down with a nasty cold just hours after winning the glitterball trophy.
Joe, 42, was crowned winner of the ballroom show on Saturday night as he and his professional partner Katya Jones triumphed in the grand final.
He admits he was "flabbergasted" to have won, especially as he is the oldest competitor to ever take the title.
During an appearance on Lorraine today, Joe then revealed he was struck down with a nasty bug just hours after his big victory.
He said: "I had the obligatory cold that descended instantly as soon as we finished - you just collapse in a heap.."
Joe also admitted he was barely able to enjoy himself at the show's afterparty because he was so tired.
He added: "There was a bit of a party on.
"We were all so exhausted, the finalists, so we didn't party that hard."
Joe went on to reveal he was shocked to win the trophy because he put on such a poor performance in the dress rehearsal.

"She was like 'We need to get there straight away' and thankfully we did by the evening."
