ROBBIE Williams has revealed how he became "morbidly obese" when he used go shopping for food after getting high.
The singer, 46, was known for his partying ways back in the 90s and early noughties, but has since ditched the booze and drugs for a healthy lifestyle.
Teetotal Rob has said that back in the day he would load up on junk food when he was high, which ultimately saw his waistline expand.
The Angels hitmaker was reflecting on his life after quitting Take That in 1995.
Speaking in his At Home With The Williamses podcast, the star said he gained weight due to his drug use and developing a bad diet.
He said: “I rented a flat. I went to the supermarket on my first shop. Once. Stoned.
“Don’t go to a supermarket stoned. You make bad choices.
“I opened the fridge door and there was this whole Mr Kipling cake.
“And I can remember this moment going, ‘Hang on, I don’t live with my mum. I can eat all that cake’.”
Robbie went on to say he found himself gaining weight as a result of his high calorie diet.
He explained: “That was January. By February I was morbidly obese. I looked like a farm animal."
Rob has been open about his weight struggles in the past, and in 2018 was made an ambassador for Weight Watchers.
Meanwhile, this week Robbie revealed he was writing wrongs with former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow and promised the group will "ride again".
He revealed he'd been penning some tunes with Gary as recently as the past few weeks, getting Take That fans very excited.
Robbie made headlines when he left the boy band at the height of its success and fans have wanted new music from the group featuring their favourite bad boy ever since.
While Take That have continued to perform over the years without Robbie and he has sporadically joined them in live performances, fans want him back in the group permanently.
Speaking on Mark Wright's Heart Evening Show, Robbie revealed the exciting news on Thursday night.
Mark asked: "Any more Take That plans? We loved the live at home with you guys."
To which Robbie dropped the bombshell: "I’ve been writing some songs with Gary Barlow in the last few weeks too."
Mark then said what everyone was thinking: "Oh wow, amazing!"

Robbie is convinced the boys would become a band again, but remained tight lipped on when that might be.
He said: "Yeah, so, you know, we will ride again, me and my brothers.
"I don’t know when that’s going to be but we will ride again."
