I’m a Celebrity’s Oti Mabuse admits ‘I’m not everyone’s cup of tea’ as she prepares for camp showdowns on ITV series

She is not afraid of potential confrontations in camp

I’M A Celebrity star Oti Mabuse admitted that she's ‘not everyone’s cup of tea’ as she prepares for potential camp showdowns.

The TV personality previously revealed her nerves ahead of the new ITV series as she touched down in Australia.

Oti Mabuse, 34, is best known for her stint as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing and as a judge on Dancing On Ice.

She was also a dance captain on The Greatest Dancer and served as a panellist on The Masked Dancer.

But Oti does not think the public truly know who she is away from her TV roles.

The presenter is excited for both her campmates and the viewing public to get to see a different side to her on I'm A Celebrity.

"I realised, I think, I'm always myself, but nobody really knows me. Nobody really knows me," she told The Sun's TV Magazine.

"Like nobody knows my personality. Nobody knows what annoys me. People know me in the capacity of a talent, or a talent show.

"It's either dancing or skating or cooking, but it's never really me talking and you getting to know me and us having a little chat, or even when I said chatting.

She added: "So I think people will see a different side to me and they might get to know me. I'm not saying I'm everybody's cup of tea. But I'm hot tea."

Meanwhile, the one thing that Oti is not scared about is getting to know her potential campmates.

She thinks that despite their varying careers, all the stars are on the 'same playing level', and they all have their own stories to tell.

"We're all just the same. We just have different stories because we're coming from different walks of life," she told us.

"But we're just people and we all have our stories and we all have our things that irritate us.

"We all have our humours. We all have our goals where we want to be in life. And I think that's the thing I'm looking forward to."

Adding: "So it doesn't matter who it is. I think for me, I'm just – this is the first time I get to be seen on the same playing level as other people."
