Hollyoaks fans questioned the lack of titles as the soap embarked on their new chapter last week after the cast cull.

However, cast member Annie Wallace told viewers that the titles would return after the time jump, once the soap had confirmed which cast members were staying.

The new titles will air from tonight and features a slowed down version of the well known musical theme, with the same signature guitar riffs.

A.Skillz composed the remixed Hollyoaks theme, after working on every refreshed version since 2009.

Another big name set to quit for good is popstar turned soap star Jamelia.

The soap's resident hunk and TV favourite Owen Warner has also left the show amid the cuts with fans left devastated to say goodbye to his character Romeo Nightingale.

Jamie Lomas has also quit the show and will depart his Warren Fox role soon.

Haiesha Mistry famed for her role as Yasmine Maalik has also left after seven years.

Cleo McQueen is being held captive by her abusive boyfriend Abe Fielding, while her family thinks she is in Bali.

Leah Hay went into labour with Charlie Dean's baby, while her dad Ste Hay woke up after one year in a coma.

Lucas Hay appeared to be in young offenders.
