But sadly they will have to wait until January to see it.

There were hopes that the much anticipated new season of the BBC1 favourite,  again hosted by Claudia Winkleman, might drop before the end of the year.

But I can reveal fans will have to hold tight for another month, and the hit murder mystery is likely to air in January every year moving forward.

A TV insider said: “Things have all gone a tad quiet on The Traitors front recently.

“That’s a sure sign that the Beeb and production company Studio Lambert have been clamping down on any information getting out while they’ve been making the show.

“Now it’s in the bag, talk has inevitably turned to when we devotees can see the finished product.

“From now on they will stick to the pattern of filming every spring with the completed series dropping at the start of the following year.”

There’s no understating just how much interest there is in The Traitors, which is filmed at Ardross Castle in the depths of the Scottish highlands

For starters a staggering 300,000 applied the moment applications opened for season three following the huge success of the second outing.

Then I exclusively revealed in January that the Beeb was planning a celebrity version of the show, which now won’t start filming until spring 2025.

Bosses of The Traitors have booked the Scottish stately home where the hit show is filmed until the end of this decade

Though I understand show chiefs are already trying to bring together one of the most sensational star line-ups ever seen on TV.

After that they’ll then turn their attentions to a fourth “civilian” series once again.

Lucien Laviscount poses on the red carpet in boxing gloves

EMILY In Paris hunk Lucien Laviscount might be ready to fight his way through a love triangle in the Netflix series – but this week he looked ready to exchange blows for real.

The actor, who rose to fame in teen drama Grange Hill and now plays leading man Alfie in the France-based comedy, wore boxing gloves as he posed on the red carpet.

He was at the  launch of the second series of BBC Three comedy Peacock, in which he stars as Jay alongside Allan Mustafa as personal trainer Andy Peacock.

Lucien returns to Emily In Paris later this year for its fourth season.

It will pick up where series three dramatically left off – with a love triangle between Alfie, Lily Collins’ Emily and Lucas Bravo’s Gabriel.

Gabriel’s girlfriend Camille (Camille Razat) had revealed she was pregnant –  which will no doubt push show protagonist Emily to decide between him and Alfie once and for all.

The series will drop in two five-episode parts, on August 15 and September 12.

DOCTOR WHO legend David Tennant is the latest big name to sign up for Netflix film The Thursday Murder Club.

He will join Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, The Two Popes  actor Jonathan Pryce, Line Of Duty’s Daniel Mays, and Killing Eve’s Henry Lloyd-Hughes.

An adaptation of Richard Osman’s novel, the crimecomedy follows four friends in a retirement community who investigate unsolved murders for fun.

But the pals – who had previously worked as a spy, psychiatric nurse, and union activist – are shocked to find themselves in the middle of a real case when a property developer is found dead.

Filming will begin this month and a release date is   yet to be given.

Joel Dommett was left in tears after visiting Davina McCall

MASKED Singer host Joel Dommett normally has a good laugh when he hangs out with show panellist Davina McCall

But their most recent get-together left him in tears.

He told Russell Howard on his Wonderbox podcast: “I went to Davina’s last weekend for a breath work workshop.

“It was two hours.

“You do this breath work thing, and then you breathe normally.

“The whole way though I’m thinking, ‘This isn’t for me, I’m not into this at all’, but as soon as we started breathing normally, people started bursting into tears.

“Suddenly I felt this tear fall down my cheek – I went full Kourtney Kardashian, I could not stop crying.

“Everyone was crying.”
