Who is Anthony on The Traitors UK season 2?
THE TRAITORS is back and a brand new group of contestants have joined the BBC reality show for its second series.
One of the hopefuls competing for a share of the show's grand prize - and hoping to emulate the success of last year's winners - is Anthony.
Who is Anthony on The Traitors?
Anthony is a 45 year old chess coach from Birmingham who plans to use his skills to help him on The Traitors.
Ahead of his debut on the show, Anthony revealed that he was a fan of the first series.
He also explained how his experiences in the world of chess could help him get further in the game.
He said: "Ultimately, the idea is to checkmate and win the game.

"For me, [the first series] was like a chess tournament, where you've got to control your emotions and psychologically manage yourself.
"I was completely intrigued by it."
Is Anthony a Traitor or Faithful?
During the first episode of The Traitors series two, Anthony was not chosen to be a Traitor.
This means that he is playing the game as a Faithful.

Viewers watched as host Claudia Winkleman conducted one-on-one interviews with each of the players during the series debut, as she was tasked with deciding who would be on what team.
Later, at the round table, she selected which of the contestants were going to be Traitors by tapping them on the shoulder while everybody was blindfolded.
Before the show aired, Anthony had revealed how he would feel if he was not chosen as a Traitor.
He said: "As a Faithful, it's going to be really tough in the beginning, because you've got to navigate who the other Faithfuls are and also not become a danger to the Traitors, trying to identify them but not becoming a major threat.
"As the game goes on and the numbers get lower, I think you then have the advantage as a Faithful."
He also said that, if chosen to be a Traitor, he would be prepared to go "all the way" to win the game.
"That's where I'm prepared to go," he said, adding: "At the end of the day, I'll quote it again, 'Everybody is expendable.'"

The 22 contestants have joined the cast of the reality TV show in hopes of walking away with a share of the cash prize.
This series, the Traitors and the Faithfuls are competing for a prize of up to £120,000.

Series two of The Traitors began with three traitors, chosen by Winkleman.

Ash, Paul and Harry were picked as the original traitors but the trio were soon tasked with choosing a fourth contestant to join them.
They opted for Miles, and the foursome will now have to work together to eliminate the other contestants while keeping their traitor identities a secret.
