Dancing On Ice bosses create emergency plan if Holly Willoughby does not return to host show

DANCING On Ice returns next month and host Holly Willoughby still has not confirmed whether she is staying on as presenter.
I can reveal producers at ITV are assuming she will front the new series – with Stephen Mulhern in for Phillip Schofield – but bosses have a plan B if she does not.
They could find an alternative to Holly in their black book of talent including Christine Lampard, Rochelle Humes and Josie Gibson.
But after Holly quit This Morning, following the troubles at the ITV show, Dancing On Ice do not want to rush her.
A source said: “Bosses have left the offer open-ended to suit Holly and not put pressure on her after the time she’s gone through, and they are quietly confident she will return.
“But they feel Dancing On Ice is a set piece so if she does step away they know there is no shortage of glam female presenters to step in.”

It comes after Holly was subject to an alleged kidnap and murder plot.
The show’s bosses have promised to increase her security from the moment she leaves home and around the studios to persuade her to sign.
She has reputedly been offered around £200k to £250k to host the programme’s nine episodes.
She previously earned £200k.
