SHAMED Jose Baxter is preparing for his return to football with Everton.
The 25-year-old has been given a second chance by his former club following his release from Sheffield United after testing positive for recreational drug use.
The midfielder is hitting the gym hard to make sure he is fit enough for his Goodison return in July.
Baxter - who is the youngest person ever to represent Everton - was made the offer in January and has been working with the club on community projects.
The former Oldham star can be seen in a video working hard at Peak Performance Liverpool.
