Price gets in Littler's head
Fans believe that Gerwyn Price seems to get into Littler's head which led to his defeat last night.
One person said: "You need to address this mental block you seem to have against Price."
Another one added: "You’ve got to get used to the antics of price on that stage, at the moment he know his tactics get to you."
Price himself attributed his victory to Luke's display rather than his own performance.
He said: "I think he just falls a little bit against me.
“Sometimes I do play really well against him, like I did in Bahrain. A couple of times I’ll play really well. Tonight, I didn’t and it was probably more in his head than the way I was playing. But yeah, I hope that continues.”
Fans flood Littler with support
After yesterday's match, fans flooded Littler's social media accounts with words of encouragement and support.
One person wrote: "Unlucky last night, once you beat Price you won’t stop beating him, don’t let him get to you Luke , well done!"
Another one added: "Unlucky last night, but some of those darts, checkouts were amazing Luke. On to next week and all the best."
A third person said: "It's unfortunate that you lost but you did play amazing!"
Nonetheless, Littler has had an incredible time and can go home with £154,500 in his bank balance following the UK Open title success and defending the Belgian Darts Open.
Price makes Luke Littler prediction
Gerwyn Price couldn't stop praising his opponent Luke Littler and predicted that the teen will beat darts legend Phil Taylor's record of 14 world titles.
Price said: “Phil Taylor… when did he start? 29, 30? Luke’s got 12 years on him and he’s already got one.
“I think he'll beat Phil Taylor's records and there is no one in the PDC that will stop him.”
The battle of two Lukes
Luke Humphries was leading on 265 and hit treble 20 and single 20 before taking a gamble by going for the treble again.
He missed and scored 100 which left him on 165 - a bogey number he could not check out.
Luke Littler then came to the board and left himself 164, Humphries threw again to leave 107 but Littler punished him by checking out to win the leg.
Littler moved into the semi-finals for the third successive week and the defending Prem champion replaced Humphries at the summit of the eight-man tournament.

Each of the players will meet each other once in weeks 1-7 and again in weeks 9-15, but fixtures for weeks 8 and 16 are drawn based on league standings.
How each player performs on each night will earn them points which will determine their place in the Premier League table.

- Two losing semi-finalists: 2 points
Following the conclusion of week 16, the top four in the Premier League table will secure their tickets to Finals Night.
Finals Night at London's O2 Arena begins with the semi-finals as first in the table takes on fourth and second faces third.
Later, the two remaining players will face off in a blockbuster final to determine the winner of the Premier League.
