Everton boss Ronald Koeman eyes reunion with Man United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin
Dutchman could swoop if his former Saint is deemed surplus to Jose Mourinho's needs at Old Trafford

New Everton boss Ronald Koeman could be reunited with his former Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin at Goodison Park.
That’s if the French international finds him surplus to requirements as Jose Mourinho starts his reign at Manchester United.
And that will alert Koeman, who seems intent on strengthening his new engine room.
Schneiderlin played for Koeman for a season before he moved to Old Trafford for £25million last summer.
He was billed as the man to finally replace Roy Keane in the middle of the park.
But, like another former boss Louis van Gaal’s signings, German Bastian Schweinsteiger, has failed to have the desired impact.

And now his time at the Red Devils could be short-lived with Mourinho reportedly wanting his United team to have more of a physical presence.
That has seen the Special One line-up Chelsea enforcer Nemanja Matic for a move north.
If that deal happens, the 26-year-old former Saints star may well find himself heading for the exit should Matic decide to link up once more with his former Blues boss.
