Pub faces legal action after using Greggs’ sausage roll in their ‘Dirty Thoughts of Cheryl Cole’ burger

GREGGS has launched legal action against a pub over its “Dirty Thoughts of Cheryl Cole” burger.
The treat includes one of the bakery chain’s sausage rolls, baked beans and cheddar cheese.
Greggs says Newcastle’s The Brandling Villa is breaching its trademark with the £12.50 meal.
Bosses also say that the quirky name is “causing offence to some”.
A spokesman for the pub, which has previously named burgers after Ant and Dec, said: “We’re a bit gutted about it really.
“We’ve been doing it for years and it’s no harm to their brand - we’re only a couple of pubs.

“We think it’s a shame. I mean, Cheryl’s not bothered.”
