Jeremy Corbyn accused of calling Tory critic a ‘w****r’ for mocking socialist state of Venezuela
A witness in the Commons claims the Labour leader swore at Tory backbencher Marcus Fysh when he said the state was an example of how a “socialist revolution can go horribly wrong”

JEREMY CORBYN was yesterday accused of calling a Tory critic a “w****r” – for mocking the Socialist state of Venezuela.
A Commons eye-witness claimed the Labour leader turned the air blue when Tory backbencher Marcus Fysh said the Latin American state was an example of how a “socialist revolution can go horribly wrong”.
The comment sparked huge cheers from the Tory benches during Prime Minister’s Questions.
But a source claimed it left Mr Corbyn seething – and mouthing the words: “What a complete w****r.”
The accusation was vehemently denied by the Labour leader’s spokesman last night. He said the reports were “not correct”.
Jeremy Corbyn has hailed Venezuela’s hard left policies – once labelling it a model of socialism.
At a London vigil for the late despot Hugo Chavez, Mr Corbyn said in 2013 that “history would be very kind to him”.
But the country has been plunged into chaos by the mass nationalisation, price controls and public spending put in place by Mr Chavez.
