Shock moment woman mows man down in Scots street as bitter love feud erupts

THIS is the shocking moment a student deliberately tried to mow down a man in a bitter love feud.

But she was accidentally caught by her own mobile phone before a video of the nasty hit-and-run went viral online.
The attack was linked to bad-blood between her partner James Lang, 32, and two of his ex-lovers.
A resident captured the incident in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire on camera before it was widely shared via social media.
But, McGregor's own mobile helped pin her as being the culprit.
Prosecutor Lindsey Dalziel told the High Court in Glasgow: "It was clear McGregor and Lang were in the Toyota together.
"Footage later recovered from McGregor's phone showed a series of clips apparently recorded by accident."
The court heard an upset McGregor "squealed and shouted" stating at one stage: "Shush Lango".
Miss Dalziel: "Lang is heard to say: 'This motor is pure f****d at the front now'."

He also gave warnings about the police and discussed getting the registration plates changed to cover their tracks.
Lang later got a voice note on his phone after news of the incident had spread.
An associate stated: "Just watch what you are doing. As far as I know, the driver was the wee lassie you were with. That is what we have been told anyway."

McGregor could now face a jail-term after she today admitted assaulting 32 year-old Leitch to the danger of his life.
Lang had his not guilty plea to also being involved accepted.
McGregor, of the city's Lambhill, had her bail continued as sentencing was deferred for reports.
Explaining the background to the attack, Miss Dalziel earlier told the hearing: "It is understood that these offences arose as a result of ongoing disagreements between Lang and his previous partners."

Two of Lang's ex-girlfriends were friends with the victim Leitch.
On February 5 2022, McGregor picked up the hired Toyota C-RH car.
The motor was fitted with a GPS tracker.
On the day of the crime, the device put McGregor in the area of the incident.
She was then captured on CCTV that night "interacting" with people in a ground floor flat in Graham Avenue, Clydebank.
Lang was a passenger in the Toyota.
A resident then became of a "disturbance" and started recording on a mobile phone.
The 48 second footage - which police became aware of after it circulated online - was played in court.
There were a number of people in the street including young children.
Leitch was clocked pulling blue recycling bins onto the road in an attempt to create a barricade.
Miss Dalziel: "The white Toyota accelerated at speed in the general direction of Leitch.
"As it approached him, brake lights were applied. The vehicle turned to the right, struck a blue bin as well as Leitch.
"He jumped out of the way, however, was struck and thrown to the ground."
The Toyota initially stopped before fleeing the scene.
Leitch escaped any injuries and did not need medical help.
An hour after the crime, the pair suddenly turned up at a garage in Glasgow's west end.
The Toyota by this time had stolen number plates taken from the motor of an innocent 84 year-old man.
Lang, of the city's Drumchapel, told a mechanic there that the car was damaged due to him "hitting someone" who tried to abduct a young relative.
Miss Dalziel: "He observed a female in the vehicle - McGregor - who was visibly upset, shaking and crying."
Later that night, police were at a house in Clydebank probing the hit and run.
Officers were inside when the living room window was smashed.
Lang was spotted in the street clutching a machete before he got into a white Toyota believed to be the same car from earlier.
He was involved in another incident in Drumchapel in the early hours again picked up on McGregor's phone.
He was once more clutching a machete as he yelled: "You are all getting terrorised. A woman was heard shouting back at him.
Lang today/yesterday pleaded guilty to charges of having the weapon in a public place, threatening and abusive behaviour, attempting to defeat the ends of justice and stealing number plates.

Lord Fairley sentenced him to a total of 27 months backdated to November 2022.
The judge adjourned the case against McGregor until next month in Edinburgh.
